Benton arrived late the night before, and immigration took a long time, so there wasn’t much to log (by the time he arrived, it was about 8 pm, so we just grabbed some quick dinner from 7/11 and then went to bed). Around 6 am, Lucy got up to start getting ready for the wushu competition (she competed around 10 am). Benton also got up (a bit later), and got ready....
Still feeling some jet lag, we woke up a bit earlier than intended today (~5:30 am). Lucy had to get ready for the competition a bit earlier, so it worked out. Around 10 am, Benton went to watch Lucy compete (Lucy got 5th, and was overall satisfied with her performance; this is the first competition she has gone through with no deductions). After Lucy finished competing, she stuck around to watch some of the later athletes, while Benton went to the park nearby, 大通り公園水の広場, to read his book (11/22/63 by Stephen King)....
